2024 Next Generation Short Story Awards
Next Generation Indie Book Awards and the Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group teamed up to create the Next Generation Short Story Awards. This program was launched to recognize and honour the best short stories in the world and celebrate and award the creative minds behind the words. Lucia's short story, 'The Moving Picture,' was selected as the winner of the Mystery Award. It is included in the 2024 Next Generation Short Story Awards Anthology of Winners.
September Stories in the City 2023
Lucia, along with authors Michelle Alfano, Domenico Capilongo, George Elliott Clarke, Antonia Facciponte, Darlene Madott, and Giovanna Riccio celebrated prose and poetry in this online reading event.
Taste of Little Italy 2023
Lucia, along with authors Darlene Madott, Gianna Patriarca, and Domenico Capilongo took part in the Taste of Little Italy 2023. They shared their books and passion for writing with many festival goers who stopped by to say ciao.

Dear Me - Litro Lab Podcast
Litro Magazine's Litro Lab recently published Lucia's podcast entitled Dear Me, a letter she wrote to her former pre-pandemic self. 'Litro Magazine was founded in 2005. People Places Passages

Lucia and took part in a lecture at La Sapienza in Rome, a press conference in Padula, Salerno to introduce one of the past Association of Italian Canadian Writers' Conference and a reading in Cori, Latina.

Prose in the Park
Lucia took part in the Prose in the Park Literary Festival and Book Fair in our nation's capital (Ottawa, that is, for those friends who reside beyond Canada's borders). This is an initiative of Ottawa’s writing community.
